Terry Wayne Lindsey, 74 of Athens, Alabama, died Monday, March 22, 2021 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.

There will be a 2pm Graveside Service Saturday with Jeff May officiating at Limestone Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 12noon until 1:45pm Saturday at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.

Mr. Lindsey was born February 2, 1947 in Moulton, Alabama, he was a member of Oakland Church of Christ and he was retired from the U.S. Army.

Survivors: Wife: Nora Lindsey of Athens; Son: James Lindsey of Arab, AL; Daughter: Rhonda Garlen of Athens; Mother: Iva Lee Baum of Athens; Grandchildren: Laura Maulrin, Michael Senyeri and Jonathon Echols; Two Great Grandchildren.

Kirk, I was just going through some old cards and notes of my Mother, Mildred Thornton, from your Mother! So many fond memories of them, our Dads and thinking of all the fun they had together.
I hope you and your family are doing well!
My husband Ellis and I live in Birmingham. Hoover to be exact. We moved back in January of 2020. We lived in Baton Rouge for 22 years. My two children, Abbey and Harry Blalock live in Birmingham now too.
