Roy Lynn Keller, 86 of Athens, Alabama, died Friday, March 11, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Keller was born May 31, 1935 in Berry, Alabama, he was a charter member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Athens where he served on numerous committees. Mr. Keller was a U.S. Navy Veteran, owner/operator of Keller Supply, Boy Scout leader, youth organization volunteer, an avid hunter, fisherman, boater, yard worker and he was a member of Athens Masonic Lodge.

Services will be 11am Monday at Friendship United Methodist Church with Tony Johnson, Calvin Havens and Steve Dorning officiating with burial in Roselawn Cemetery.

Visitation is from 10am until service Monday at the church. Spry Funeral Home in Athens is directing.

Pallbearers will be Paul DeGrave, Adam Boyd, John David Townsend, Jared Smallwood, Brian Haney and Steve Hargrove.

Survivors: Wife of 63 ½ years, Imogene C, Keller. Son, Todd C. (Marlene) Keller. Daughter, Anita K. (Paul) DeGrave. Grandchildren, Amber (John David) Townsend, Victoria Smallwood, Alisa DeGrave, Ashley DeGrave, Jared Smallwood, Alexandra (Adam) Boyd, Christian Keller and Ella Keller. Six Great Grandchildren. Brothers, Dan (Gloria) Keller and Hugh (Beverly) Keller. Sister-in-law, Gayle Keller. Several Nieces and Nephews.

Preceded in death by: Parents, Pearson and Mattie Mae Keller. Brothers, Tommy Keller and Joe Keller. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Friendship United Methodist Church or your favorite charity.
