Mr. Rickey Silas Dempsey, 60 of Athens, AL died Monday, September 23, 2019 at his residence.

Graveside Services will be Friday, 2 PM at Legg Cemetery with Kevin Harrell and Tony Turner officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, 6-9 PM at Spry Funeral Home.

Survivors include, Sons: Rickey Lee Dempsey of Elkmont, AL, Joseph Dempsey of Athens, AL, Mother: Mable Dempsey of Huntsville, AL, Brothers: Jackie Dempsey of Harvest, AL, Johnny Dempsey of Decatur, AL, Jody Dempsey of Athens, AL, Bobby Dempsey of Hazel Green, AL, Sisters: Sharon Malone of Huntsville, AL, Melissa Harrell of Harvest, AL, 9 Grandchildren & 1 Great Grandson.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Powell, Jeff Ivey, Richard Taymon, Joseph Dempsey, Rickey Lee Dempsey, & Jody Dempsey.

I want to send my condolences to this family! I pray for family! Amazing people and would do anything for anyone! Him and his wife were so precious!
I could go on and on talking about all the good in Joe!
