Rhonda Kay Carruth, 62 of Athens, Alabama, died Thursday, December 8, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Carruth was born May 12, 1960 in Limestone County and she was a homemaker.

There will be a 2pm Graveside Service Monday at Dement Cemetery with Tim Anderson officiating. No visitation is planned. Spry Funeral Home in Athens is directing.

Survivors: Father, Ted (Peggy) McLemore of Athens. Sisters, Cynthia (Mike) Witcher of Cullman, Susan Marie Beckham of Pass Christian, MS, Lynne (David) Burnett of Decatur and Joey (Tony) Yancey of Priceville. Aunts & Uncles, Macon & Sally Brock and Darlene & Bill Branton. Several Nieces, Nephews & Cousins.

Preceded in death by: Grandparents: J.C. & Margaret McLemore and Floy & Buddy Brock. Mother, Sherry Brock McLemore. Husband, Billy Carruth. Sister, Susan Lynn Royster.

We met Sean in 2011 when we lived in Athens. We had just moved from upstate NY. Sean befriended our son Alex. Sean was a kid you immediately liked.
