Lynda "Faye" Kelley Lauderdale age 83 of Athens passed away Friday January 5, 2024 at Athens Health and Rehabilitation.
Faye was born August 2, 1940 in Limestone County. Faye was a homemaker, her and Robert had five girls so she didn't have time to work until they were older. Faye enjoyed working with flowers and making arrangements. She loved being outdoors, and going fishing. She liked to ride around and look at the place she grew up on Cottonbelt Road in Salem. She would reminisce about her childhood memories... She always mentioned the old smoke house out back. Faye always looked forward to family reunions to celebrate her and her daddy's birthday since they shared the same day. Eating goat stew was the main course. Faye wants all her family to know she loves them very much!!. We can have comfort knowing she is going to Heaven. She said to her children "The Lord is coming to get me".
