Katherine Inez Ferguson, age 85 of Athens died Saturday at
Athens Limestone Hospital.
Mrs. Ferguson was born January 3, 1934 in Limestone
County, Alabama, she was a homemaker and a member of Westview church of Christ.
Graveside service will be 2 pm Tuesday at the Higgins
Cemetery with Tony Hudson officiating, no visitation is planned.
Survivors include, Daughter, Deborah Lovell of Athens.
Grandchildren, Ashley Johnson of Ft. Worth, Texas. Alicia Abrams of Columbia,
South Carolina. Melissa Abrams of Columbia, South Carolina. Three Great
Grandchildren. Sisters, Opal Romine of Anderson, Alabama. Christine Hudson and
Francis Weith both of Athens. Several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ferguson was
preceded in death by, Parents, Lenton and Alvie Lovell. Husband, Charles
William Ferguson. Daughter, Melba Abrams. Sister, Hattie Baucom. Brothers, Mac
Lovell, Dunnavan Lovell, and Floyd Lovell.
