Deepest condolences to all you Skarp kids at the passing of Tom. When I first moved to Oakes (1994) Tom was a big part of the ambulance service. Many days & nights I had enjoyable conversations with Tom on the way back from the Fargo transfers, being I was the age of his kids I guess he saw fit to become my mentor even though I was 35 yrs old at the time. His insight and words of wisdom will long be remembered and I feel privileged in saying I knew him.
Well done good and faithful servant.

Our sincere sympathies to all of you with the passing of your Dad. We were so sad to hear of Tom’s passing. I worked at the Vocational Center in Oakes, doing secretarial work for Tom. I worked for him while in High School and again for awhile after getting married. I really enjoyed his sense of humor! A monetary donation will be given to the Oakes Golf Course in his memory. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Dennis & Shelly Forward
