Cooper went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 26, 2023.
He was born on August 3, 1960 to Gary and Sue Cooperin Huntsville,
Alabama.
There will be a Memorial Visitation
on Saturday 12noon until 2PM at Spry Funeral Home in Athens. A Private
Graveside will be held later.
He was a
1979 graduate of Huntsville High School and a graduate of Athens State
University.
Preceded
in death by his parents, brother; Jim Cooper and niece; Stephanie Cooper.
He is
survived by his wife of 34 years, Pam Cooper, son; Jonathan (Kelsey) Cooper,
daughter; Jennifer (Jake) Hood, and grandsons; Rhett and Colton Cooper and
Cooper Hood. Brother; Stephen (Gwen) Cooper, Nanette (Russ) Boyanton, Katherine
Cooper, and sister-in-law Sheila Cooper. He is also survived by many loved
nieces and nephews, and friends that were family.
Of Jeff’s
many titles, Grandad was his favorite. He was an avid Alabama fan, devoted to
his career and work family at Redstone Federal Credit Union and loved by
all.

Jeff, From the first time we met you made me feel welcome and part of the team. Always so positive and willing to help any and all around you. I looked forward to our lunch meetings and of course the BBQ competitions! You are a great friend and I miss you already. Bill Andrews

So sorry for your loss. I know families change and grow with the years. Parents and grandparents pass before their time. Distance and circumstances keep us from being together, but I often think of my Alabama family .
