It is with deep sorrow and much love that the passing of Bonnie Mae Coffman of Athens, Alabama on October 12, 2023 at the age of 88 years old. Miss Coffman was born October 17, 1934 in Limestone county where she lived out her whole life. She was the last of five sisters to passaway Evelyn Campbell, Shirley Garries, Betty Coffman, Nancy Emerson and then Bonnie Coffman. Miss Coffman was never married or had any children of her own but she had a hand in raising generations of children she came pure and left this world pure if that isn't a "TESTIMONY" to her faith. Bonnie Mae Coffman was a faithful, humble, loving, caring, kind and giving woman with a sweet spirit . Her life legacy was living for the lord which is a testimony to us! Miss Coffman was a member of Hobb Street Church of Christ she loved Church more than anything in this world and went faithfully! She enjoyed sewing with her nieces and nephews even great and great great nieces and nephews. She also loved to cook for everyone. Coloring was another thing she loved that made her so happy. Miss Coffman is survived by many generations of nieces and nephews she was an amazing "Aunt"! You are gone, But thank you! For all the these soft sweet things you have left behind. In my home & In my Memories & In my heart.... Your life was a blessing your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. There will be a 2pm graveside service held at Roselawn Cemetery where she will be laid to rest by Betty Coffman and Shirley Garries. Bill Irby will officiating.
