Mrs. Irene Looney Davis, 85 of Lester, Alabama, died Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Davis was born June 2, 1935 in Limestone County. She was a member of Craig’s Chapel Church of Christ.

There will be a 2pm Graveside Service, Saturday at New Salem Cemetery with Mike Johnson officiating. Spry Funeral Home is directing.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Pugh, Chad Anderson, Blake Rose, Trey Rose, Wes Totten and T. J. Crouch. Survivors: Daughters, Sharlene Davis Miller of Athens, Darlene Davis of Martin, TN and Melody Pugh of Athens. Grandchildren, Brooke Anderson Totten, Chad Anderson, Shanna Miller Brownlow, Lacey Miller, Blake Rose, Trey Rose, Caitlyn Crouch and Tyler Pugh. Nineteen Great Grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews.

Preceded in death by: Husband, Charles Tommy Davis, Daughter, Debbie Rose and husband Bev, Grandson, Brenton Cole Rose.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.

We are so sorry to learn of James Alfred (Shap to us) death. Our deepest sympathy to all his family. Shap was a great friend to all who knew him.

Sorry to hear of Jimmy's death. We all thought so much of him when we worked for him at Prestolite.! He was a great man and boss!
