Don Rice
memorial service for Donald E. “Don” Rice, 86, of Athens will be held at a later date. Mr. Rice died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at home.
Don Rice was born Jan. 9, 1925 in Ohio. He retired from Redstone Arsenal, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tom Rice; brother, David Rice; and granddaughter, Amanda Paige Rice.
Survivors include his wife, Nan Rice of Athens; son, Scott Rice of Huntsville; daughter, Robin Legg and husband Greg of Elkmont; grandchildren, Alicia Dawson, Jacob Legg, Leighann Rice, Micah Legg, Jack Rice; and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Billie Earl Williams, 72 of Athens passed away Wednesday November 2, 2011 at Athens Limestone Hospital.
Funeral service will be Saturday, November 5, 2011, 11am at Spry Chapel with James Walden officiating.with burial in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday, November 4, 2011 from 6-9 at the funeral home.
Born October 2, 1939 in Ridgeley, TN to Horace and Wayconia Williams.
Of the Baptist Faith, US Army Veteran and Reitred Millright.
