Deanna Hill, 77 of Athens, Alabama, died
Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville.
Services
will be 2PM Saturday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Bruce Johnson
officiating and burial in Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation is 6PM until 9PM Friday
at Spry Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hill was born August 12, 1946 in Limestone County,
she was a member of the First Church in Athens and she was a retired Lunch Room
Worker from Athens City Schools.
Survivors: Son: Greg Hill of Athens;
Daughters: Renae Harper of Harvest and Lisa Hill of Athens; Brother: Alywin
Moran of Athens; Sisters: Judy Farris of Huntsville, Jane McMahan of Roopville,
GA and Rocky Bowen of Huntsville; Six Grandchildren; Eight Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Husband: Paul Hill.

You will be missed dearly friend. We didn’t get to meet in person, but i can’t wait to see your face at that pearly white gate. you helped me open up so much to my family and you helped me communicate my feelings. you helped me continue to move on. it breaks my heart that you didn’t get to. I’ll live in for you bubba. i miss you 💔.

I met Will on a friends app about 4 years ago, it really hurts not knowing he passed away so sudden. He will be missed. He always talked about college and that he would show me his cooking pictures, which looked so good. I will miss so dearly, he was a great long distance friend. Sending love and prayers.
