With hearts full of both immeasurable love and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our precious daughter, Scarlett Faye Simmons, who entered this world on August 5th, 2026 and was immediately welcomed into the arms of Jesus.
Though Scarlett’s time in our arms was far too brief, she was deeply loved from the very beginning. She measured 7½ inches long and weighed 4.8 ounces a tiny, beautiful little girl who forever changed our lives. Every moment we dreamed of meeting her, every prayer we prayed for her, and every hope we held for her made her life incredibly meaningful.
Scarlett was the cherished daughter of Dylan and Anastasia Simmons and the beloved little sister of Leon, who was excited to love and protect his baby sister. Though he will not grow up beside her, she will always be his sister, and she will forever hold a place in his heart.
While we did not get to hear Scarlett’s first cry, watch her take her first steps, or celebrate the milestones we longed for, she gave us something that will never fade the unconditional love only a child can bring. She will always be our daughter, our precious blessing, and a beautiful reminder that love knows no measure of time.
Scarlett is also lovingly remembered by her grandparents, extended family, friends, and all who prayed for and eagerly awaited her arrival. The outpouring of love shown to our family has been a source of comfort during our darkest days.
Although our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing that Scarlett is safely in the arms of Jesus whole, healthy, and free from pain. We hold tightly to God’s promise that this goodbye is not forever. One day, by His grace, we will see her again.
Sweet Scarlett, you were wanted beyond words, loved beyond measure, and will be missed beyond a lifetime. You will forever be a part of our family, our story, and our hearts. We will carry your memory with us every day until the Lord reunites us in Heaven.
