Price Eugene Pepper was born in Athens, Alabama on October 9, 1954 to Franklin and Virginia Pepper. He passed away at his home with his loving wife Patti by his side on September 7, 2025 at the age of 70. A loving husband for 36 years, Price was a man of quiet strength and had a heart full of goodness. During his life, he lived in Bradenton, Florida and Jackson, Tennessee, before returning home to Athens. He was a welder by trade and worked for many different companies, his favorite being Tropicana in Florida. He will be remembered by his hearty laughter, his passion for hunting, and his unwavering support for his family. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Virginia Pepper, his Father, Franklin Pepper and his Step Mother, Bea Pepper. Price is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 36 years, Patti Pepper. Four Brothers, Fred & Becky Pepper, Steve & Claudia Taylor, Jeff Taylor and Mike & Pam Pepper. Five children, Lesa Sue Drummond, Lori Del Haggard, Franklin Scott Pepper, Shanda Kei & Brandon Taylor and John Todd & Korah Pepper. He was PaPa to eight Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren. A memorial service will be 12 noon Saturday in the Chapel of Spry Funeral Home, with Jeff Taylor officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
