Michael Allen DeWispelaere age 69 of Elkmont passed away Monday at his residence. Michael was born October 8, 1956 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, was a retired mechanic and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Lynn (Jeremy Coffman) DeWispelaere. Grandchildren, Cassandra Elizabeth Craig. Savannah (Carson Lipscomb) Rose Craig. Brother, Garold Melchi. Sisters, Kelly DeWispelaere. Dawn Melchi-Deer. Kathleen DeWispelaere. Patty Geerken. Terry DeWispelaere and Sherril Lukins. Several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Kathy DeWispelaere. Father, Albert DeWispelaere. Mother, Barbara Melchi and Sister, Debbie DiWispelaere. Graveside service will be 2 pm Friday at Sandlin Cemetery with Pastor Jevon Turner Sr. officiating. Visitation will be private for the family. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Coffman, Carson Lipscomb and other family and friends.
