Chesley Ross Cook age 48 of Elkmont passed away Saturday at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Cook was born December 8, 1976 in Jackson County, Alabama, he was of the Baptist faith and employed by TVA at Brownsferry Nuclear Plant. Survivors include his wife, Wendi Cook of Elkmont. Father, Pat Cook of Scottsboro, Alabama. Son, Chase Cook of Elkmont. Sister, Stephanie Cook Jones of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Sister In Law, Amy Whitt of Athens. Nephew, Trent Jones of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Several Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins. Preceded in death by his Mother, Cynthia Cook. Grandparents, Walter and Evelyn Cook. O.A. and Doris Hicks. Mother In Law, Cliffie Whitt and father In Law, Clayton Whitt. Visitation will be 6-8 Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home, Athens. A memorial graveside service will be later at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro.
