Herbert Allen Sides, 72 of Athens, died Sunday, December 9, 2018 at his residence.

Celebration of Life Service will be 3pm Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Central Church of Christ with Jon Johnson officiating, visitation from 12noon until service Sunday at the church, with a private burial to be held later.

Mr. Sides was born March 5, 1946 in Limestone County, he was a member of Central Church of Christ and he was owner/operator of Sides Auto Body Repair.

Survivors: Wife: Becky Sides of Athens, Son: Darren Sides and wife Amy of Athens, Daughter: Dana Pressnell and husband Mike of Athens, Brother: Gregory Sides of Athens, Five Grandchildren, Three Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by Parents: Earl B. and Rosa Mae Sides, Grandson: Hayden Pressnell, Three Brothers, One Sister.
