Marvin Edward Shedd, 71 of Athens, AL died Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 2, 2018 2 PM at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with John Norman officiating. Burial will be in the Mitchell Cemetery, Anderson, AL. Visitation will be Thursday 6-9 PM at Spry Funeral Home.

Mr. Shedd was preceded in death by Parents: Hollice & Irene Shedd, Brothers: Douglas Eugene Shedd and Dalton Ray Shedd.

Survivors include, Wife: Debrah Shedd of Athens, AL, Daughter: Susan Hammond (Keith) of Elkmont, AL, Sons: John Shedd (Amy) of Lester, AL, Chris Shedd (Tracy) Athens, AL, Andy Moore (Jessica) of Rogersville, AL, Josh Shedd (Melanie) of Elkmont, AL, Grandchildren: Austin Shedd, Haley Shedd (Cody Kelley), Blake Shedd, Rachel Hammond, Emily Shedd, Caitlynn Moore, Michaela Moore, Great Granddaughter: Madelynn Grace Kelley, Brothers in Laws: Allen Coffman (Chris) of Pulaski, TN, Elwood Coffman of Florida, Wayne Coffman of Florida, Sister in Law: Frances Martin (Steve) of Cullman, AL
