Jeannine K. Roberts, age 84 of Athens passed away Saturday March 9 at Huntsville Hospital surrounded by her immediate family. Mrs. Roberts was born on August 26, 1934 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School in 1952. She worked as an administrative assistant in various companies, as an operator for ATT in Lancaster, PA and for Joyce Shoe in Madison, IN. She had a lifelong love of sewing, spending most of her life working as a seamstress and made numerous handmade quilts that have been cherished. She continued her career while raising her family, moving to Madison Indiana in 1968. She and her husband also resided in Texas and Florida before settling in Athens, AL.

Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her parents Harry & Irene Keller, her brother John Keller and sister Mary Kopf. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Fred Roberts. Brother William Keller of Lancaster, PA. Three children Debbie Elles and fiancé Dave Bell, David Roberts and wife Glenna Roberts, and Donna Roberts. Grandchildren/step grandchildren: Aaron Roberts, BeeJay Elles and wife Angela, Brian Bishop and wife Lorraine.
Greatgrandchildren: Lydian Roberts, Elijah Roberts, Maggie Elles, Skyler Elles, Lindsey Bishop, Logan Bishop.
