Robert Dale Summers, age 86, of Athens died April 30, 2026 at his home. He was born July 24, 1939 in Kentucky to Horace Lee Summers and Geneva Burton Summers. Mr. Summers was a member of Calvary Christian Church of Winchester, Kentucky, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a retired Fireman for the city of Lexington, Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Summers, sons, Steven Summers, Robert S. Summers (Wendy), and Kenneth B. Summers, daughters, Melissa B. Summers, Jennifer S. Labanoski (Jan Michael), grandchildren, Amelia Labanoski, Trent Nathaniel Labanoski, Dustin S. Summers, Tanner C. Summers, and Shelby L. Summers.
Services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Spry Funeral Home officiated by Keith Smyser.
