Donald Lee Osborne, 84 of Athens, died Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Athens Limestone Hospital.

Visitation will be Friday from 9am until 11am at Spry Funeral Home, 
then from 4pm - 8pm at Athens Bible School all on Friday.
Services will be Saturday at 2 pm at Athens Bible School, body will lie in state from 1pm until 2pm. Wayne Kuydendall, Everette Conn, Randy Adams and Burt Wilson officiating, burial in Athens City Cemetery.

Pallbearers are David Osborne, Nash Osborne, Dustin Hall, Wes Riley, Jennifer Hall and Rebecca Holland, Jonathan Holland, Chris Wilbanks and Abby Osborne. Honorary Pallbearers are Edsel Bates, Phillip Pitman, Randy Easter, Dr. Cassidy Koonce, Dr. Ernie Hendrix, Joe Klevorn, Bobby Turner and Bill Giguere.

Mr. Osborne was born February 9, 1934 in Anniston, Alabama, he was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, he was a retired Educator from the Limestone County Board of Education, a longtime Gospel Preacher and a member of North Alabama Mental Health Board member for 30years.

Survivors: Wife of 65 years: June Osborne of Athens, AL, Son: David Osborne and wife Gail of Trussville, AL, Daughter: Jill Adams and husband Randy of Athens, AL, Grandchildren: Jennifer (Dustin) Hall of Athens, Rebecca (Jonathan) Holland of Athens, Nash Osborne of Vestavia, AL, Abby Osborne of Manhattan, NY, Great Grandchildren: Piper Hall, Annie Kate Hall and Graham Hall, Brother-in-Law: Joe Klevorn of Athens, Nephew: Jeff Klevorn of Athens.

Preceded in death by Parents: Tommy and Merle Osborne, Sister: Janice Klevorn, Preceded in death by: Infant Great Grandson: Carl Asher Hall.

Memorials may be made to Athens Bible School, and Mental Health Center of North Alabama.
