Michael Wade Knight age 72 of Athens passed away Friday at
Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Knight was born June 23, 1953 in Haleyville,
Alabama.
Survivors include his Wife, Beth Knight. Son, C.W. (Jamie)
Knight. Daughters, Alana (Matt) Coker and Hallie (Graham) Smith. Grandchildren,
Elsie Smith, Tatum Smith, Huey Smith, Leta Coker, Adison Knight,
Brantlei Knight and Cason Knight. Sister, Karen Knight (Mike) Scott. He
was preceded in death by his Parents, Billy & Bettye Knight. Visitation
will be Tuesday from 12 noon until 2 pm at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
Services will be private. Pallbearers will be, C.W. Knight, Graham Smith, Matt Coker,
Tyler Scott, Harlan Knight and Vann Knight. Honorary pallbearer will be Andy
Balch.
