Margaret Jewel Barnett age 79 of Athens passed away Saturday at her residence. Mrs. Barnett was born November 19, 1946 in Limestone County, a homemaker and a member of New Hope church of Christ. Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda (Bryant) Moss and Dana (Brian) Terry. Grandchildren, Tyler Moss, Jonathan Moss, Emily Moss, Meg Stone (Tez) and Reagan Jackson. Sister, Irene Cain. Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jerry Wayne Barnett. Brothers, Wayne Goodin and Tony Goodin. Sisters, Peggy Favors and Sandra Pullum. Services will be 2 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Randy Adams and Meg Stone officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6- 8 pm at Spry Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Bryant Moss, Tyler Moss, Jonathan Moss, Brian Terry, Tez Stone and Brody White. Memorials may be made to Hospice of North Alabama.
