Mamie Brown, age 85, of Madison died January 23, 2026 at her
residence. She was born July 26, 1940 to Charles and Mamie Thompson Brown in
Limestone County. She is survived by two brothers, Robert Brown and Joe Brown,
both of Athens, and two sisters Catherine Williams and Brenda Atkins, both
of Athens.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2026 at
Garrett Cemetery of Athens.
