Roy Wayne Long age 70 of Anderson, Alabama died Monday in Athens Limestone Hospital.

There will be a Memorial Service Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11AM at Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Chuck Hood officiating, Spry Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Long was born March 16, 1947 in Limestone County, he was an Army Veteran and he was retired Carpenter.

Survivors: Wife: Katherine Long of Anderson; Daughters: Gwendolyn McConnell of Pulaski, TN. and Leann Journey of Anderson; Brothers: Rocky Long of Anderson and Lynn Long of Athens; Sister: Patsy Kellum of Loretto, TN.; Three Grandchildren; One Great-Grandson.

Preceded in death by Daughter: Derhonda Long; Brother: Huey Long.
