Laura Wilcox of Athens, age 63, died April 27, 2026 at River City Center in Decatur. She was born September 4, 1962 in Louisiana to Donald and Eva Jean Wiley. Ms. Wilcox was retired from the United States Air Force. She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Smith, son, Joseph A. Wiley, three grandchildren, brothers, Jason Lee Wiley, Donald Charles Wiley, and sister, Rachel Hurtubise.
There will be a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Spry Funeral Home of Athens.
