Juanita Ann Anderton
Juanita Ann Anderton, 63, of Athens passed away Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Spry Funeral Home with Ross Clemmons officiating. Burial will be in Copeland Cemetery.

Visitation is from noon until time of the service Monday at the funeral home.

Juanita Anderton was born Sept. 4, 1948, in Limestone County to Carl and Clara Hobbs.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Survivors include daughters, Lisa Perry and Honey Bentley, both of Athens, Dana Sprinkle of Toney and Lottie Partridge of Elkmont; son, Travis Whitt of Athens; brothers, Charlie Hobbs of Athens and Doug “Chunk” Hobbs of Ardmore; sister, Rosa Crawford of Athens; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Samuel Black, Chase Michaels, Zachary Hobbs, Bradley Dollar, Carl Hobbs and Jon Vennison. The honorary pallbearer is Tyler Hobbs.
Pauline Fielding Lovell
The funeral for Pauline Fielding Lovell, 88, of Athens will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Spry Funeral Home with Bert Wilson, Stuart Wilson and Jordan Lovell officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lovell died Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at home.

Pauline Lovell was born Sept. 5, 1923, in Limestone County. She was a member of Jackson Drive Church of Christ in Athens and an avid supporter of Athens Bible School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Butch and Eula Fielding; husband, Billy Lovell; and sister, Judy Clark.

Survivors include daughter, Virginia Coffield and husband Frank of Athens; sons, William W. “Buzz” Lovell Jr. and wife Jennifer, and Stephen Lovell and wife Sandra, all of Athens; grandchildren, Bert Wilson and wife April, Stuart Wilson and wife Molly, Will Lovell and wife Amber, Matt Lovell and wife Tashia, Jim Lovell and wife Erica, Jordan Lovell and wife Heather, Cullen Lovell and wife Caryn, Valarie Haislep and husband Roger; great-grandchildren, Hannah Wilson, Rhett Wilson, Caroline Wilson, Sam Wilson, Emma Lovell, William Lovell, Allie Lovell, Ava Lovell, Aubrey Lovell, Aiden Lovell, Rylee Lovell; and brother, Johnny Fielding and wife Doris Jean of Athens.

The family gives special thanks to Doris and Roy Dugger.

Pallbearers will be Bert Wilson, Stuart Wilson, Will Lovell, Matt Lovell, Jim Lovell, Jordan Lovell, Cullen Lovell and Roger Haislep.

Memorials may be made to Athens Bible School and Southern Care Hospice.
