Patricia Ann Summers
The funeral for Patricia Ann Summers, 74, of Athens will be at 2 p.m. Sunday October 23 at Spry Funeral Home with Kevin Harbin officiating. Burial will be in Dement Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Summers died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Patricia Summers was born June 11, 1937, in Flint, Mich., to James Perry Hodge and Vera Cornilia Hodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur William Summers Jr.; son, Rick Jordan; great-grandson, Paxon Jordan; three brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include sons, Raymond Jordan of Florence, Rexford Jordan and Rocky Jordan, both of Cullman, Neil Jeffery Summers of Flint, Mich., and Shawn Summers of Athens; daughters, Robin Jordan of Atlanta, Lisa Maxwell of Eva, LaTisha Kay Hummer of Willoughby Hills, Ohio, Beverly Jean Cotton of Eldon, Mo., and Lauri Lee Ketcherside of Versailles, Mo.; sisters, Lafern Seay and Gail Allen, both of Flint, Mich.; 29 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
