Mrs. Jenice Branon Harris, 73 of Athens, AL passed away Monday, February 21, 2011 @ Limestone Health Facility.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 23, 2011, 3 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Athens, AL with Ron Oakley & Dr. Don McCulley officiating. Burial in the Roselawn Cemetery, Athens, AL.
Vistation will be Wednesday, 1-3 PM @ Emmanuel Baptist Church
Mrs. Harris Born April 30, 1937 in McKenzie, TN to Howard & Louise Branon. Jenice became a Christian at a young age, and before becoming bedridden at the Limestone Health Facility, attended Tuesday Bible Study and Sunday Church Services. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Although she lived with a debilitating condition her entire adult life, she was a strong, smart woman who always had a beautiful smile on her face and touched the lives of so many. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and cooking but most of all she loved being with her family.
