Mr. Charles Douglas Read, 85 of Athens, AL passed away Thursday, 1/6/11 at Huntsville Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday, 1/8/11, 1 PM at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Bud White officiating.
Burial in the Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, 11 AM until service time.
Born October 18, 1925 in Nashville, TN to Rufus & Bessie Mae Read. Member of the Northside Church of Christ.
WW II Airforce Veteran, Retired from Bell South Telephone.
Preceded in death by 3 Brothers & 1 Sister.

Beloved wife of 63 Yrs. Amy Ruth Read of Athens, AL
Son: Richard Read of Athens, AL
Daughter: Melisa Furno & husband, Chris of Athens, AL
