Homer Guy Clem, age 88 of Athens died Tuesday. Mr. Clem was
born January 29, 1931 in Limestone County, retired from Monsanto Chemical. Mr.
Clem was a Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of Mt. Zion church
of Christ.
Services will be 11 am Friday in the chapel of Spry Funeral
Home with Bob Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the Athens City
Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 9 am until service time.
Pallbearers will be,
James Kenneth Bobo, Steve Pressnell, Pat Kilpatrick, Justin Thomas, Dave Eaves,
and Terry Robinson.
Survivors include, Son, Stevie Guy (Pam) Clem of Athens.
Daughter, Mary Sue Clem of Athens. Step Sons, Michael (Diana) Drawbaugh of
Versailles, Kentucky. Ricky (Nancy) Drawbaugh of Shelbyville, Kentucky. Larry
Drawbaugh of Athens. Sister, Marion Murphy of Athens. Brother, Earl (Peggy)
Clem of Harrison, Tennessee. Step Granddaughters, Jessica Pierce and Lindsey
Gordner, and by several Step Drawbaugh Grandchildren. Several nieces and
nephews. Mr. Clem was preceded in death by, Parents, Homer Mason Clem and Elna
Rowe Clem. Wives, Sarah Adams Clem and Janice Drawbaugh Clem. Daughter,
Nancy Lane Clem. Brother, Jake Clem. The family request donations be made to
Hospice of Limestone County.

So sorry for your loss. I remember him when he was very young. He was always so funny. I not going to tell you it will get better. All I can say you learn how to move forward. That what I learned when Cindy died. Sending prayers your way.
