Donnie Lou Williamson, age 88, of Elkmont died January 5, 2026. She was born on June 12, 1937 to Hobson and Merle Glanton Vinson in Limestone County. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Church of Christ and a retired beautician. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Samuel) Pressnell Brewer of Elkmont, sons, Roger Vinson Pressnell of Athens, and Ricky (Roxana) Charles Pressnell of Elkmont, grandchildren, Robert Pack, Daniel Draper, Nathan Pressnell, Melanie Pressnell, Jessica Styles, Christina White, and Sonya White, thirteen great-grandchildren, her sister, Judy Jackson of Athens as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Homer Pressnell and Thomas "Bill" L. Williamson.
There will be a visitation Wednesday evening, January 7th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home of Athens.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8th, at Spry Funeral Home officiated by Odis Duncan and Ricky Pressnell. Interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
