Brenda Faye Steelman, age 73, of Athens died at her
residence on January 28, 2026. She was born November 23, 1952 in Nashville, TN
to Herbert and Bama Alexander. Mrs. Steelman was a homemaker. She was preceded
in death by her husband, Terry Lane Steelman, her daughter, Tonya Marie
Steelman and her parents. She is survived by her son, Terry Duane Steelman,
grandchildren, Crystal Roper and Levi Johnson, Great Grandchildren, Eliza Marie
Johnson and Madeline Grace Johnson, Sisters, Carol Young and Regina Williams,
and Brother Eddie Tucker.
There will be a visitation 12:00 noon, Monday, February 2nd
at Spry Funeral Home followed by services at 2:00 p.m. also at Spry Funeral
Home with Michael Blankenship Officiating. Pallbearers will be Levi Johnson,
Cody Roper, Franklin Steelman, Randell Jackson, Michael Blankenship, and Casey
Williams. Interment to follow at Isom's Chapel Cemetery in Athens.
