Archie Gordon Tennsion Jr. age 77 of Rogersville passed away Friday at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Tennison was born May 2, 1948 in Limestone County, he was retired from Calhoun Community College a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of the church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Tennison. Daughter, Stepanie (Tony) Clemons. Son, Derek Tennison. Grandchildren, Autumn (Allen) Miller. Haley Clemons. Alana (Cam) Williams. Hannah Clemons. Garrett (Trinity) Tennison. Hope Clemons and Noah Tennison. Great Grandchildren, Harper White and Brentlee Rouse. Sisters, Mary McLemore and Shirley Blankenship. Brother, Joe Tennison. Several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by, Parents, Archie Gordon Tennison Sr. and Elfreda Boyd Tennison. Daughter, Brandi Tennison Oneill and brother, Kenneth Tennison. Services will be 3 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home, visitation Tuesday from 1 pm until service. Burial to follow at Lentzville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brad Smith, Stanley Hill, Brad Dean, Kerry Warren, Jerry King and Ronnie Sims.
